Hi, I’m Kim!

A proud (and tired) mom of two energetic boys, both under the age of 3, who keep me on my toes and fill my life with endless joy and cars.

My journey started working in the sports industry, where I met my wonderful husband. While working in professional and collegiate sports for over a decade, I became very burnt out working endless nights and weekends. I was preparing for my next biggest phase in life, becoming a mother, and the sports life just didn’t fit anymore. I discovered a hidden passion that eventually led me to make a career pivot into the realm of home design and DIY projects.

As a self-proclaimed DIY enthusiast, I’ve found immense fulfillment in transforming our living space into a haven of comfort and style. Blending elements of traditional and modern design with coastal accents, my aesthetic vision reflects both timeless elegance and the relaxed vibe of coastal living.

My love affair with home design ignited during childhood visits to new homes, where I dreamed at the possibilities of creating a space for my personality. When the time came to find a place to call our own, I was determined to stray from cookie-cutter designs. Instead of buying a new build, we opted to purchase an early 2000s home that we could design ourselves.

Room by room, I’ve been channeling my creativity, turning each space into a reflection of our family’s story and style. From repurposing old furniture to tackling ambitious renovation projects, every endeavor fuels my passion for creating spaces that are both functional and inviting.
